Celeste, by John Entrekin

This all started as a series of sketches of my model at the time. From there it went in a few directions. The first image is the print is a serigraph, (silk screen, see a detailed explaination) done on rag paper, 12 x 9 inches. This was done as only a two color print one for the lines and one for the hair and gown. I kept this as a limited edition of 30 prints.

 
The second is the print done with a full 9 color or "9 pull" image.  This is the final of this print done as an edition of 30. To see another image of this with the ordering info place go to, "Celeste."

I then took this idea and the sketches and created an oil painting in my "swirly" style. I gave it a different name, "Jennifer", just so I could keep them straight. This painting is an oil on canvas 22 x 14 inches. You can also see and purchase it at "Jennifer."
