Honor your cherished pet with a beautiful painting to display on your wall. Using your photo as a reference, I will create a pastel artwork in your desired size. Each piece is crafted on premium art paper with professional-grade pigments.

How to order your pet portrait.

Ordering a pet portrait is very simple.

The first step is to look at my price list.

Basic prices are listed below:

• As an 11 x 14 inch, a single head and shoulders is $400.

• Two animals on a separate or same board are $700.

• For more animals, I will quote

• Full-length done as 16 x 12 inches is $500.

• Other sizes or special requests will be quoted when I have seen the photos and requests.

• I can create square portraits from any of the above sizes.

The next step is to pick the photo you wish to have painted. The form below will allow you to send one image in your favorite pose. Later, you will be able to send more so I can better understand your pet. MOST IMPORTANT IS TO HAVE HIGH-QUALITY PHOTOS. With those, I will be able to see the details I need.

What are pastels? Pastels are high-quality chalk in hundreds of colors. Each is rich in pigment and made with archival materials that will last centuries. They come in stick and pencil form, and I will use both to create your portrait.

On what will it be painted? All my portraits are painted on archival paper board, made to accept pastels, and created to last. The size you choose is the size board you will receive.

What about framing? You will receive your pet portrait on the artboard in the size you ordered. Pastels are a very delicate medium. Your portrait will need to be framed under mat board and glass. I recommend working with your framer of choice to pick out the frame and matting. (I suggest a double mat with an under mat used for pastels.) You will also need to pick out the glass. I highly recommend museum glass. It is more expensive but will show your portrait to its best advantage.
